this flag is 1 1/2 inches thick, 24 inches wide, 40 inches long and weighs just over 12 pounds. the eagle head is hand painted. it is done in the shou sugi ban method. this gives the wood more texture and brings out the wood grain. made with water-resistant interior-exterior wood glue. it has 2 layers of gloss exterior spar urethane on the front and back.
